Every 2nd Saturday of the month, either side of Alexandra Headland Skatepark from 7am to 12pm, you’ll find a collection of locally made and locally designed products. As well as tasty food, live music and coffee, all while being right by beautiful Alex Beach.

MUDJIMBA TO MOOLOOLABA ISLAND CHARITY SWIM | 8 May 2021
The Island Charity Swim is a proud not-for-profit event and a major annual fundraiser for the Currimundi and Palmview Special Schools. The swim is 11km from Mudjimba Beach around Old Woman Island to Mooloolaba Beach.

THE BLOODY LONG WALK | 23 May 2021
This 35km challenge to cure Mito starts at Tickle Park in Coolum Beach and takes a scenic journey all the way along to the finish line at Mooloolaba Beach. Shuttle buses are available to take you to the starting point from Mooloolaba.

Beginning in July, you’ll be able to get up close with the whales migrating along the coastline. Experience a whale watching cruise or there’s even the opportunity to swim with whales!

7 SUNSHINE COAST MARATHON | 14-15 Aug 2021
7 Sunshine Coast Marathon and Community Running Festival is one of the most-loved running festivals in Australia. Event distances include the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and the 2km family dash. Each road race follows the stunning coastline of Alexandra Headlands with white sandy beaches and spectacular vantage points alongside the ocean. With a distance to suit every ability and age group, this community-focused, world-class athletic event caters to all those wanting to take part.

THE OLD WOMAN OCEAN PADDLE SUNSHINE COAST | 5 Sep 2021
An event for everyone that is passionate about paddling and the ocean environment The Old Woman Ocean Paddle is open to Ski’s, SUP’s, OC1 and Prone paddlers. The Old Woman course starts and finishes at Mooloolaba Spit with Old Woman Island being the destination and turnaround point, a total distance of around 18km. There’s also a shorter 5km distance on offer.

MOOLOOLABA CHRISTMAS BOAT PARADE | 18 Dec 2021
Presented by the Mooloolaba Yacht Club, the Mooloolaba Christmas Boat Parade is a festive Christmas lights display with a difference – you’ll see decorated boats of all sizes alongside houses. Come along from 7pm to cheer on the boats as they stream down the Mooloolah River and Kawana Waters canal.

Presented by Sunshine Coast Daily the Mooloolaba Swim Festival features two days of ocean swims, clinics and festival events for the whole family. On Saturday, the 2.5 kilometre Alexandra Headland to Mooloolaba Ocean Swim. On Sunday, the ever popular Mooloolaba Mile, Mooloolaba 3.0 and short course events.
